The elderly population is increasing year by year, and according to surveys, most long-term care facilities do not use physiological monitors. They rely heavily on manual detection methods, primarily due to the shortage of caregivers who can promptly replace invasive medical equipment for the elderly, which can lead to infection issues.
The target audience for our product includes long-term care centers and home healthcare services. Government regulations mandate a caregiver-to-patient ratio of 1:5, resulting in a severe shortage of caregivers. This product aims to assist caregivers in being more efficient and providing immediate identification and diagnosis, ultimately offering better care and reducing the burden on healthcare personnel.
Our product utilizes millimeter-wave radar detection instruments to assist patients in physiological sensing, including monitoring respiration, heart rate, body temperature, and more. It features a remote radar detection system for respiration, heart rate, and body temperature, which is a rare offering in the current market. Additionally, because it is radar-based, we plan to introduce standalone and integrated models in the future, such as physiological monitoring, bladder detection, fall detection, sleep monitoring, AI electronic health records, and more.
